Residing in Texas' Kendall County, approximately 28 mi (45 km) northwest of San Antonio and 79 mi (127 km) southwest of Austin, is the city of Boerne. The natural ecosystems and living caverns of this area attract visitors to attractions such as the Cibolo Nature Center, Cascade Caverns and The Cave Without a Name. The city boasts local artists and collections of paintings, pottery and sculptures, presented through exhibitions in numerous commercial and artist-run galleries.
